The Howards have been creating ceramics in Croton-on-Hudson, NY for 50 years, and their pieces have been shown in the U.S. and abroad in prestigious galleries, museums and art centers, as well as New York City stores. According to Fong Chow, a former curator of Far Eastern Ceramics in the Metropolitan Museum of Art: "These potters make their work sing . . . not many people can do that."
The artists' pieces are original, handmade, and one-of-a-kind, lead-free stoneware, porcelain, and raku ceramics. Their works range from masterful showpieces to elegantly glazed utilitarian bowls and dinner sets.
