Item Description
Since before history, salmon ran in the northwest rivers like blood in the veins of the land. Their range defines the geography of the Northwest, from small headwater streams to the open ocean of the North Pacific. Salmon is a primary food source for the northwest people who treasure and revere them. Once called the "salmon people", their return from the ocean was marked by a celebration of ancestors returning to their homes. About 1 1/4" tall including bail loop, with the design done on both sides or "in the round".
This item is being donated by Jeff who used to live in Florida, now lives in Washington, has seen both captive and wild, and knows now, that these creatures should never be put in a tank...
I have seen all the jewelry, and I have to say this is a gorgeous piece of art on a chain.
