Item Description
The Mercury dime, minted from 1916 to 1945, is also known as the Winged Liberty dime. The young Lady Liberty's winged cap caused her to be confused with the Roman god Mercury, leading to the more common name. It is made from 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The reverse of the mercury dimes features Roman fasces, symbolizing power and jurisdiction, along with an olive branch, signifying peace. You are bidding on a Lot of Ten (10) Mercury Dimes (Common Dates).
