$150 gift card to use at any of Marc Vertri's Family Restaurants.  Chef Vetri was named one of Food & Wine magazine’s “Ten Best New Chefs.” In 2005, he won the James Beard Award for "Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic.”  He has also received The Philadelphia Inquirers highest Restuarant rating.

Amis: Located on 412 South 13th Street, Philadelphia.  Inspired by Rome’s neighborhood trattorias, this smaller but energetic restaurant specializes in small plates such as handcrafted pastas and house cured meats. In November 2010, Bon Appetit named Amis one of the top “10 Places for Pasta” in the country

Osteria: Located 640 North Broad Street, Philadelphia.  Osteria is a traditional Italian Osteria, where you can choose from our homemade pastas, thin crust pizzas, or wood grilled meats and fish.  Additionally, the menu changes seasonally, to go with our 100 bottle Italian wine list featuring grapes from Trentino to Sicily and all stops in between.

Alla Spina: Located 1410 Mt. Vernon St., Philadelphia.  Alla Spina  was inspired by years of visits to Italy and a true love of finely made beer, the Vetri family has brewed up their version of an Italian gastropub with the debut of Alla Spina (Italian for “from the tap”). Diners can expect a large selection of both local brews and Italian beers, as well as pub fare including house-made sausages, braised meats and oysters.

Staying true to its moniker, Alla Spina is a haven for seasonal craft beers. Guests can grab a spot at the bar and order from one of the 20 beers on tap—which include hard-to-find Italian brews, a choice of domestic and international offerings and two cask ales; three other taps are dedicated to pouring wine. There’s also a list of 50 bottled beers too, as well as an exclusive house beer from local craft brewery, Victory, which is a blonde ale called Novello.

Signature dishes include “Italian” Poutine with mozzarella curd and guinea hen leg bolognese; Veal Breast Milanese Hoagie with bacon maionese; Pig Tails with fennel agrodolce; Maple Glazed Fried Chicken; and Pig Pot Pie. Desserts include beer floats, or Affogati, along with such dishes as Fried Focaccia with Italian stout hot chocolate and a decadent Donut Bread Pudding.
