Weight requirements: Cessna 172: Total weight of passengers cannot exceed 440 lbs.
Cessna 182RG: Total weight of passengers cannot exceed 500 lbs.
Additional Information:
Walter J. Urbanavitch, a retired aeronautical engineer, has been flying private and commercial planes for over 40 years. He and his wife, Pat Gagne, make regular plane trips to destinations such as Panama City and Marco Island, FL and Hopetown, Bahamas, often including their grandchildren.
An introduction to the flight will include an overview of the aircraft, and the technicalities of the flight and the air traffic control system. All “crew members” will be provided a head set for communication. If more than one passenger would like to have the opportunity to sit in the “co-pilot” position, the flight can include landing at an airport to make a switch.
Depending on the weather and air traffic control requirements, the trip could include flying over Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
