The collection features some of the most highly acclaimed producers of California pinot noir, Patz & Hall, Siduri and Testarossa. For instance, Matt Kramer of Wine Spectator has said: "to taste Siduri is to taste some of the best pinot noir made in America today." This case includes single-vineyard designate wines, including the highly-acclaimed Pisoni Vineyards from Patz & Hall. As noted wine critic, Robert Parker, Jr., has said, "Gary Pisoni and, of course, his vineyard, respectively, are the rock star and the grand cru site of the Santa Lucia Highlands.". Robert Parker gave the 2008 Patz & Hall Pisoni a 91-point rating. Also included is a top-of-the-line reserve, Curvee Niclaire, from TEstarossa, which is a blend of the best pinot noir barrels of the vintage. (The 2006 vintage of Testarossa Cuvee Niclaire received 96 points from Wine Enthusiast). It is named for the two children of Rob and Diana Jensen, owners of the Los Gatos based Testarossa Winery.
