Item Description
Somatic Movement Therapy uses mindfulness techniques, visualization, developmental movement patterns, and techniques from other somatic disciplines such as Alexander Technique and Craniosacral Therapy to repattern your movement habits and create change from the inside out. Especially helpful for recurrent injuries and mysterious aches and pains. Lissa Michalak, DESMT, has taught movement for almost 25 years, has trained Pilates teachers for the Kane School of Core Integration, currently teaches anatomy for the Bellyqueen School of Dance, and also teaches anatomy to athletes, dancers, mind-body practitioners and anyone who moves their bodies.
Item Special Note
Sessions must be used within 6 months of auction close. Sessions can be located at my studios in Union Square or Chelsea, or at the client's home, subject to agreement of both parties. Fun must be had by all.
