Item Description
This unique 12" square labyrinth pattern was inlaid into the tile floor of Ely Cathedral, located just outside of London, England. It was constructed by Sir Gilbert Scott in 1870 during his restoration of the cathedral. Interesting to note is that the path is almost as long as the Chartres design but the design itself is much more compact.
This affords the finger labyrinth user a long, introspective path in a small, overall space.
Rather than being a round path like most other labyrinth designs, the Ely causes the user to meander through various geometric shapes on the way to the center; a most interesting and unusual labyrinth journey. Each has a notch for hanging and engraved suggestions for use on the back.
Item Special Note
Made of compressed wood so the finger paths have a light, sandy feel to them. Can be used as is, or stained/painted. Make great and unusual gifts!
Please note: This Item Only Ships To Destinations Within The Continental US.
