Item Description
This captivating black and white fine art photography print was captured in West Redding, Connecticut by artist Patricia Lambert. It is matted and unframed and measures 17" x 22".
About the artist:
Patricia Lambert was educated in photography, painting, and printmaking.
She made a brief detour into stage lighting and design for Dance, working on the Juilliard stage for several years, but returned to printmaking combining photo methods and etching. She gradually segued into straight gelatin silver printing which she shows here.
Her work is shown and collected nationally and internationally.
Lambert has taught at the Parsons School of Design for over twenty-five years lecturing on color phenomena and application in two dimensional design.
During the summer she teaches workshops on color related to design. Her first book, COLOR AND FIBER (Schiffer Publishing Ltd.), a collaboration with two well-known fiber artists, is used as the primary text and is still in print.
Her second book, CONTROLLING COLOR (Design Press) is now out of print, but may be purchased from Amazon.
Her studio is in North Stamford, Connecticut.
