Two Nights for Six & More
2014 marks the Wetzel family’s 52nd year on their historic property Alexander Valley property and the winery’s 39th anniversary. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Merlot constitute over one-half of total production. Other varietals include Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Proprietary wines include CYRUS, their limited production Bordeaux style blend, Gewurztraminer, and the trio of Zinfandels: Temptation, Redemption and Sin Zin.
Your stay will be in the Wetzel Family Estate guesthouse, overlooking acres of grapes. The guesthouse offers two queen and two single beds.
You’ll have a VIP tour of the winery, estate, gardens and caves along with a private reserve wine and cheese tasting in the historic adobe.
In addition, you’ll have a private horse and carriage wine tasting tour with gourmet lunch on The Wine Carriage. You’ll travel on an exclusive route to neighboring boutique wineries and served a sumptuous lunch of fresh baguettes, herbed meats, local and imported cheeses, organic strawberries and wine filled chocolate truffles. Your coachman will regale you with stories of local history.
Advance reservations of at least ninety days are required. The guesthouse does not offer room service or indoor parking. The guesthouse is unavailable between August 15 and December 15. Valid until April 30, 2015.
