Item Description
"Her name is Lola; she was a showgirl..." Carol Cohen's abstract mixed-media piece uses bold colors and kinetic lines to evoke the eponymous nightclub immortalized by Barry Manilow. This 18" x 24" artwork combines acrylic paint, oil pastel, and metallic ink, creating a mosaic-like effect and a burst of texture and color. In addition to her success in visual arts, Carol Cohen is an interior designer and fashion illustrator who has designed placemats for the New York Botanical Garden that were featured in The New York Times. She has also designed fabric and is currently marketing a line of tapestry handbags. Her "Copacabana" will be a breath of fresh air in any decor!
