Here is your chance to own this spectacular piece of art, "Hands of ASL" by internationally recognized Deaf artist, Uzi Buzgalo. His collections have been showcased in Israel, Switerzland, Germany, Belgium and the United States.

Dr. Sue Mather, has graciously donated this item from her own collection and affectionately refers to this painting as "Hands Like Flowers, reflecting that hands that use American Sign Language to communicate with the world are just as beautiful as flowers... even when the flowers are being pruned, our hands grow back more beautiful!...'

Item Special Note

Uzi Buzgalo was born in Afula, Israel. He was the first Deaf child in his town!  He used drawing as a way to communicate with his family and friends.  He attended the Jerusalem School for the Deaf. 

Mr. Buzgalo discovered art at the Museum of Israel in Jerusalem at age 11. From 1973 to 1975, he studied lithography and sculpture at the Art Museum of Tel-Aviv.  He continued to foster his passion in an art residency program, Ein Yod, in Haifa.
