The Intergrative Approach-Body work by Alex

Integrative Bodywork

An image of Integrative Approach Massage Therapy being performedAs the licensed massage therapist and health educator of Integrative Approach Massage, I work to improve clients’ overall health by taking a holistic approach to therapeutic care through Integrative Bodywork.

Integrative Bodywork is the culmination of multiple bodywork modalities such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Connective Tissue Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Shiatsu, and Reflexology, to name a few. Each client will have a personal consultation with me, during which I will assess the client’s individual needs, present and past injuries, and bodywork preferences. The result of my intake is a completely tailored Integrative Bodywork session that will help each client along their journey towards recovery and wellness.

This comprehensive form of massage therapy is associated with dozens of health benefits. Clients of Integrative Bodywork have experienced a decrease in lower back pain, headache frequency, high blood pressure and joint pain. Additionally, they’ve experienced an increase of blood and oxygen flow to the muscles, an improved immune system and flexibility throughout the body.

Feeling is truly believing! Visit The Integrative Approach Massage for a consultation with me and discover how Integrative Bodywork can help you to approach life with renewed zest and work to their best ability. Everyone deserves a life full of vitality and well-being!

Deep Tissue Massage

This massage uses slow strokes and deep pressure to work on tight areas to release specific muscle tension and restore flexibility. Deep-Tissue Massage is generally slower than Swedish, this technique goes deeper into the muscle and connective tissue to release chronic tension which might have developed from injury or overuse.

Myofascial Release (Connective Tissue Therapy)

Myofascial Release (also known as Connective Tissue Therapy), is considered to be one of the most effective methods of health care to relieve chronic pain and restore function and mobility. Using steady directionally focused pressure, fascial restrictions and adhesions are normalized, resulting in elimination of pain, increased range of motion and re-balancing of the body’s interdependent web of connective tissue.
