The winning bidder will receive one week summer camp class at The Chyten Center in our Shark Tank Jr. class, part of elementary school ESTEEM classes.  This is good for the summer of 2014 and expires on August 31, 2014.

Shark Tank Jr.

In Shark Tank Jr., students play the role of young entrepreneurs as they start with the germ of an idea for a product and business and take it through the entire entrepreneurial process.  Loosely based on the TV show Shark Tank, our students develop prototypes, formulate a business plan and devise a marketing strategy.  Meanwhile, students learn through contextual lessons on concepts such as wages, profits and branding while designing print ads, acting out “TV commercials,” researching real estate locations and creating replicas of their storefronts.  The class concludes with our young executives pitching their ideas to a celebrity panel of parent “sharks.”  These young executives will really be taking care of business!

About Chyten Test Preparation Center:

Mission:

Chyten's mission is to offer high quality educational services, to develop and implement effective strategic tools to maximize tests scores and grades and to make a positive and profound difference in students' lives.

Historical Overview:

Chyten Educational Services was born from the inspiration and efforts of its founder and President: Neil Chyten. Driven by his personal motivation to help students achieve their highest potential and utilizing his own innovative strategies to make that possible, Neil worked as independently for twelve years helping countless students improve their academics and obtain top scores on standardized tests.

In 1996, Neil decided his methods were capable of helping many more students, he hand-picked a cadre of experienced teachers to join him. Dedicated to the belief that personal attention, exceptional customer service, and Chyten’s signature strategies could provide students and families with a complete menu of educational services, Neil and his team offered the first premiere tutoring service to the Boston area.

Three years later, their success led to the opening of the first Chyten Educational Center in Newton, Massachusetts. The center became a locus for the highest quality tutoring and test preparation available. Private tutoring rooms allowed students to work with dedicated professionals away from the distractions of home and family. Chyten centers in the towns of Wellesley, Lexington, and Westwood soon followed.

In 2006, the success garnered by the Chyten formula led the company to franchise its business in educationally-minded communities across the country. In less than four years Chyten franchises have opened their doors in 13 states from coast to coast. Each center is run by highly qualified owners who share Chyten’s dedication to providing the highest quality service to families and students.

Chyten continues to enhance its educational programs and hone its time-tested techniques. Each Chyten Center embodies Neil Chyten’s original mission that with the proper tools, a commitment to the success of each individual student, and in partnership with families our tutors can help every students maximize their potential.
