Item Description
Known as "America's Oldest Brewery", Yuengling Brewery was founded by David G. Yuengling when he settled in Pottsville, PA in 1829. The "Eagle Brewery", as it was originally known, moved to its current location on Mahantongo Street in 1831 after fire destroyed the plant on Centre Street. The name was changed to D.G. Yuengling & Son in 1873. Current owner, Richard L. "Dick" Yuengling, Jr. purchased the plant from his father in 1985 and reintroduced the production of Yuengling Traditional Amber Lager two years later, securing its place in history with one of the most populart American Beers.
Winning bidder will receive the pictured metal bar sign, personally signed by owner Dick Yuengling. Description reads as: "With appreciation for your supprot for Hawk Mountain. My Best to You, Sincerely Dick Yuengling. Dated 6/26/13.
