Two tickets for impossible to get seats - fifth row center - for Dame Edna & Barry Humphries' Final Farewell Tour!  These tickets have been held by the same family for almost 30 years and for the first time, being made available to offer to you. 

Do not miss the spectacular side-splitting historic finale of Barry Humphries and global “gigastar”, Dame Edna Everage celebrating a 50-year career of sold-out venues, command performances for the Royal Family, television specials, and around-the-world tours.  Dame Edna is a character created and performed by Australian performer and comedian Barry Humphries, famous for her lilac-colored or "wisteria hue" hair and cat eye glasses or "face furniture", her favorite flower, the gladiolus ("gladdies"), and her boisterous greeting, "Hello, Possums!"  Australia’s greatest entertainment export returns for more take-no-prisoners comedy and hijinks, and no one in the audience is safe from the Dame’s wicked tongue.  Barry Humphries and his most famous creation Dame Edna Everage aren’t going out with a whimper on this, their final tour … they’re going out with a rapid-fire explosion of convulsive laughter and cheers.

Ever a hilarious audience favorite, spend your afternoon at the 2:00 matinee with and up close to Dame Edna, from which you will be still laughing when you have dinner later. 

The dates for the run are still being finalized, but the tentative dates are January 25, 2015 - March 15, 2015.  The tickets are usually the first Saturday matinee in the run.

Item Special Note

• Dame Edna will be showing at the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
• The two tickets being offered are for seats C 14 & 15 for the first Saturday 2:00 matinee.
• Since these are part of a season tickets package, the tickets can be exchanged directly with the Ahmanson box office by phone for another day depending upon seat availability during the show's run.  There is no fee for the exchange and the exchange can be done once the winner has the tickets in hand.
• All ticket sales are final.  There are no refunds if the theater makes any changes to the show, dates, or seating, as new tickets will be issued by the theater.  Before July 1, 2014, if the theater changes the show title, the winner will have the option to keep the tickets or get a refund less the auction and charge card fees.
• Babes-in-arms and children under 6 or who are liable to fidget are not admitted to any performance.
• Acknowledgement will be e-mailed to the winner upon close of auction and tickets will be mailed to the winner as soon as they are issued by the theater in probably late August - early September.
