The winning bidder will receive two days of Theme Camp at My Gym, for children ages 2 ½ - 7 years old, during either the April vacation week or during summer 2014. Theme Camp days can be used at either Boston (located near the Allston Shaw's on Comm Ave) or Newton My Gyms.  This donation is valued at $90.

CHILDREN AND PARENTS LOVE MY GYM CAMP! We provide a great variety of activities each day including games, relays, sports, gymnastics, crafts, story time and more. Our unique facility offers the perfect atmosphere for fun, exercise, creativity and growth. We always maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio which enables us to enhance your child's physical and social experience and their sense of individual success. We keep things fresh in the summer with exciting themes like Super Heroes, Princesses and Dragons, Jammin Gym, Beach Party, Sports Week, Under the Sea, Circus Acts, Outer Space and Farm Week. Holiday camps are always themed appropriately. Our number one goal is your child's growth and development in a safe, clean, comfortable environment. During the majority of the camp program, children are divided into two age groups: 2 ½ - 4 ½ and 4 ½ - 7. We prefer, but don't require, that our youngest campers be potty trained.

Our themes and programs change daily, so no two camp days at My Gym are ever the same.

We make it easy for parents with our drop-off program, pay-by-the day options, and multi-day and sibling discounts.

Our History:

My Gym was created in 1983 by William Caplin and Yacov & Susi Sherman, who opened their first two My Gyms in Santa Monica and Van Nuys, California. Utilizing their experience in the fields of sports, dance, early childhood development, kinesiology and gymnastics, they developed a program and facility where children actively participate in a variety of structured, weekly physical education classes to gain social skills and self-esteem.

In 1989, Cory Bertisch and Monique Vranesh, then recent graduates of the University of California at Santa Barbara, purchased My Gym in Van Nuys and experienced immediate success. From 1989 to 1994, the original My Gym founders, together with Bertisch and Vranesh, further developed the My Gym programming, refined their custom-made equipment, fine-tuned their systems of operation, and witnessed the popularity of their gyms explode.

In 1995, with their concept ready for duplication, the partners seized the opportunity for expansion by establishing My Gym Enterprises (MGE), the company responsible for franchising My Gym Children’s Fitness Center worldwide. To ensure the future success of this franchise business opportunity, the MGE founding team developed a detailed, comprehensive franchise package with extensive training and support systems, the quality of which is unparalleled in the child fitness industry.

Our Future

There are currently more than 200 My Gyms in over 25 countries throughout the world. Each year, more than one million children enjoy the age-appropriate, noncompetitive classes and birthday parties My Gym offers. By 2011, My Gym plans to have over 300 facilities in more than 50 countries.

My Gym recently launched its mobile program, which allows My Gym owners to reach more children than ever. My Gym anticipates that, by the end of the decade, over 10 million children worldwide will be attending a gym or experiencing My Gym classes through its mobile program.
