Item Description
Spend an afternoon with Steve Lefkovits, photographer, parent, naturalist, and a great story teller. Twenty five years ago he was a staff photographer for USA Today covering news, sports, and entertainment. Since then, his photography interests have shifted towards discovering, appreciating and sharing natural beauty. He is the owner/operator of the Pacific Landscapes Gallery in Emeryville that displays his diverse nature and landscape photography.
The rhythms of outdoor life are primal and fundamental. Time in nature is meditative, inspirational and rejuvenating. Steve will share how to capture those feelings in digital images that you make yourself with your own camera.
Each outing is for 1-3 people. We will spend 4-6 hours getting to a
beautiful Bay Area location of your choice and learning to visualize images and capture them in a way that fits the essence of your vision. Weather and timing permitting, we will include a sunrise or sunset in the outing.
Possible locations include Mount Tam, Half Moon Bay, the Marin Headlands, Point Reyes, and Coyote Hills Regional Park.
At the end of the day, we'll conclude with discussing options for getting prints made and finished to your specifications.
