Item Description
Enjoy an evening on Melrose! This package includes a gift certificate from our friends at the Village Idiot for $100. Consistently voted one of LA's top ten taverns, the food is also exceptional. They say their food is an extension of their passion for whole animal cooking and butchery. They buy pasture raised cows, pigs, and lamb direct and have them delivered whole to the kitchen door. They source the best beef from ranchers who raise their animals humanely and sustainably with great care and integrity. No factories. No antibiotics. No hormones. They source their seafood and poultry locally, and the majority of the produce comes straight from the farmers' markets. So grab a friend or two or three - and enjoy!
Also part of this package - four VIP (4) passes to the legendary Hollywood Improv on Melrose. The Improv has long been as much a part of Hollywood as any other establishment in the country. They have been the site of hundreds of tapings for both film and television, not to mention a countless number of comedy CD recordings. The critically acclaimed “Funny People” was the latest movie to be filmed at the Hollywood Improv, but other movies such as “Man on the Moon,” “The Aristocrats”, Robert Townsend’s ”Hollywood Shuffle,” and “The Goodbye Girl” also had major scenes shot at the Improv.
For over half a century, the Improvisation Comedy Clubs have remained the premiere stages for live comedy in the United States. Over the decades, the talent who has played center stage represents the Who’s Who of American Comedy, including Richard Pryor, Billy Crystal, Lily Tomlin, Freddie Prinz, Andy Kaufman, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld, Tim Allen, Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Dane Cook, Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Foxx, Adam Sandler, Jeff Dunham, and Dave Chappelle.
Have fun!
