Item Description
Jed Ballew has been roasting coffee for his own enjoyment as well as selling his fresh offerings to coworkers and friends for the past five years. It was a natural progression for Lucy (7, Massey, Huebner and Chappelle) and Jackson (10, Kalon and Tyler) to learn the craft and to join in the roasting hobby with their father. Around a year ago, Jackson and Lucy had become quite skilled and had been roasting with minimal supervision. As a reward for their work and refinement of craft, they receive the profit for the coffee that they roast. A third of their earnings are donated to the charity of their choosing – in this case, Undercroft.
Winner will receive:
Five pounds of the freshest coffee, roasted to order. Winner's choice from two types of beans and between blonde, house or espresso roasts.
So that you don’t ruin this wonderful coffee with the coffee maker that you inherited from your grandmother, the winning bid will also receive an Aeropress coffee/espresso maker and Hario Skerton ceramic hand grinder.
Donated By:
