The Red Shoes was founded in 1976 with the goal to sell quality dance wear at affordable prices to the dance community in Southern California.
Thirty years later, The Red Shoes now sells dance wear to professional and student dancers throughout the world. They’ve remained true to their original philosophy of providing dancers with only the finest in dance shoes, attire, and accessories, and backing those products with personal service.
The staff prides themselves in the correct fitting of pointe shoes, because they know that poorly fitted shoes will not only damage a dancer's feet, but can also damage a dancer's earning potential.
The Red Shoes provides the finest quality dance wear products, along with years of knowledge and experience to help the dancer choose what is correct for their performance.
The best part about coming here is the great feeling I have supporting a local business. It's a tiny shop filled with only dancing accessories.
