Item Description
Fabric: Cotton
Wildlife SOS has been diligently working from years in order to control poaching and illegal wildlife trade in India by reforming tribals that depend on wildlife for food, as a source of income and livelihoods;and by educating their children and empowering womenfolk as second wage earners.
Embroidery has been taught to Kalandar(tribal community) girls and these scarfs are a portrayal of there hardwork and passion to achieve something in life.
The purchase of this scarf helps the Kalandar women to have an income so their families are less likely to exploit wildlife for an income.
