Item Description
About This Piece: This listing is for a one-of-a-kind, personalized charcoal pencil drawing of your pet that is being generously donated by Jamie Maxfield, a member of the AANE Artist's Collaborative. The display picture is only there as an example of Jamie's past work and as a testament to his skill and attention to detail. The winning bidder will be contacted at the end of our auction period and asked to send a picture of their pet to Jamie via email. They will then receive a custom, made-to-order charcoal sketch of their pet based off the photo Jamie receives. The drawing will measure approximately 11" wide by 15" tall.
About This Artist: Jamie Maxfield is a very talented artist who dabbles in many different mediums, with a concentration in charcoal pencil sketches. When drawing, he typically chooses to focus on people and animals as his subject matter. Jamie has a unique ability to flawlessly sketch his subject matter in person, from a photograph, and sometimes even through the utilization of frozen hi-def TV images.
About the AANE Artist's Collaborative: The AANE Artist's Collaborative consists of artists with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and related autism spectrum profiles. The collaborative creates an amazing opportunity for these artists to showcase and sell their work on a regular basis throughout the year. The Artist's Collaborative invites people to not only appreciate the mind-blowing artistic abilities of our members, but to also take advantage of the strikingly unique chance to see the world through their artwork, and therefore their eyes. Adults with AS often struggle with an inhibited ability to communicate verbally, but through their artwork, our artists are tapping into their rare, ingrained ability to communicate visually.
