Item Description
4 week class at Swim Labs!
There are three unique components to the SwimLabs model: the combination of the technologies with warm water SwimLabs Pools, digital analysis software by Dartfish and a highly knowledgeable trained staff. The first, the SwimLabs Pool technology, has significantly improved the learning process for swimmers at all levels. The water current created by the SwimLabs Pool can run at variable speeds and allows the more advanced swimmer to swim in place, or hover over mirrors on the bottom of the pool; it also allows the instructor to remain in one place while focusing on the student’s strokes. The addition of the the Dartfish digital analysis software greatly increases the instructors ability to analyze the stroke. Being able to slow down the stroke, frame by frame and compare the student’s stroke to that of a world-class athlete greatly increases the understanding of their stroke. In addition to the value added to the student watching their stroke in real time, on a pool side monitor, the video is transmitted to a second TV in the waiting room, allowing a parent/friend/coach to view the lesson without interrupting the instruction. The third, the expertise of the instructors is vital to the success of the company. Each instructor is trained in SwimLabs progression methodology. The training is a minimum of 20 hours.
These three components allow SwimLabs to focus on the full range of the swimming market, marketing our concept “From bubbles to Butterfly”. The age range for SwimLabs students starts at age 1 - 10 years old for kids lessons and within the competitive market, SwimLabs works with all ability levels; learn to swim, triathletes, masters swimmers, college swimmers and even Olympic hopefuls.
