Item Description
Own a piece of NJSO history!
In January, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra gave the US premiere of Tan Dun’s Earth Concerto, in which clay and ceramic pots become featured instruments. Percussion soloists David Cossin, James Neglia and James Musto had the unique experience of shopping at a garden store for the pots that would become their featured instruments.
Now, you can take a piece of this experience home with you. Own the set of ten dark brown tercotta flowerpots on which Jim Musto performed; composer Tan Dun autographed one pot in the set.
Watch a video of the percussionists shopping for their flowerpot instruments.
