Item Description
The Joinery is a team of passionate master craftsmen and designers creating beautiful, heirloom-quality hardwood furniture. Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1982, the Joinery started as a one-man furniture repair and refurbishing business. Since then they have grown to over 30 employees building handcrafted furniture for residential customers throughout the U.S., using their own designs or those created in collaboration with their customers. Enjoy this beautiful handcrafted breadboard, approximately 18" in length by 8-10" wide. The breadboard is paired with Bouchon cookbook by Thomas Keller of French Laundry in Napa Valley. This is a book to cherish, with its alluring mix of recipes and the author's knowledge, warmth, and wit: "I find this a hopeful time for the pig," says Keller about our yearning for the flavor that has been bred out of pork. So let your imagination transport you back to the burnished warmth of an old-fashioned French bistro, pull up a stool to the zinc bar or slide into a banquette, and treat yourself to truly great preparations that have not just withstood the vagaries of fashion, but have improved with time.
