With a history dating back to 1863, Cognac Hardy is well known for quality cognacs and traditional production methods. Passed down throughout the generations by its founder, an entrepreneurial Englishman who fell in love with the French Charentaise countryside, Cognac Hardy now boasts a 150-year history of providing a range of cognacs to the four corners of the globe.
The winning bidder will enjoy this trio, beginning with Hardy's VS Fine Cognac "Red Corner," a creamy, youthful Cognac blend made with spirit aged for at least 5 years in Limousin oak - a full year more than the minimum required for a VS Cognac! Very smooth indeed. Next, Maison Rouge VSOP, a deep mahogany cognac. This eau-de-vie born on the fruity side shows more vanilla, tobacco and cedar hints because of the aging process. Cinnamon becomes nutmeg mixed with flavors traditionally associated with aged cognac such as rancio and candied fruit. On the palate, spices and dry fruit aromas embrace toasted bread notes. And finally, Maison Rouge VS Cognac, which features floral notes with hints of rose petals, fruit forward in full bloom with a light lemon flavor and traces of vanilla. Spicy cinnamon fragrance with a soft ripe finish.
