Erika Bischoff, LCSW and Mari Conti, LMFT, had a vision to create a “One stop shop” for therapy. A commitment and passion to aid people to have more harmony in their lives is what drives their business.
As a team, they are able to refer to each other and other therapists in their clinical practice to provide treatment with the whole family and at the same time, if needed. They can work with a family system in multiple ways. For example, one therapist can meet with the parent(s) as a couple or individually while another therapist can work with child(ren) separately in the play therapy room.
Play therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are modalities most used at Westwood Family Counseling, Inc.
They also work with individuals who are seeking help to decrease depression and anxiety, and to increase personal growth. They also collaborate with other professionals in the community and have many outside resources and referral options for health and mental health needs (e.g., medication prescription, hypnotherapy, or nutrition).
