Item Description
Original painting, 12"x24" acrylic on canvas
Libby was born in Philadelphia and now resides in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in painting and a Bachelors of Science in Art Education in 2006 from Millersville University. He received his Masters of Fine Arts in painting from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2011. Currently, Libby serves as an art instructor at Perkiomen Valley High School in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
Robert Libby’s paintings show three distinct worlds of reflected surfaces as they simultaneously act and collide together; the reflected, the transparent, and the glass. There are abstract worlds that exist in every moment of every aspect of life. His work invites the viewer to keep their eyes open.
His most recent work grows from these collisions and combinations and is inspired by multiple exposure photography.

Absentee bidding turned ON for this auction item!! This is good news for you!!
Absentee bidding may be used by organizations that run online auctions in combination with live events. It enables bidding to continue at the live event after the item's online close date. Online bidders may place "virtual, maximum bids" on these items. The absentee bidder may or may not be present at the live event. At the live auction, a "proxy" stand-in is designated to bid up to - but not exceed - the absentee bidder's maximum online bid. Absentee bidding allows online bidders the opportunity to bid on items and support great causes, even if they cannot attend the live fundraising auction.
