About the Artist
A California native, Franceska Schifrin has had numerous group and solo exibitions around the world, including the Soapbox Gallery (Venice), Galerie Bourbon (Haiti), ARC Gallery (Chicago), Trojanowska Gallery (San Francisco), and Galerie Lakaye (Los Angeles). She studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and has been the recipient of several prestigious grants and awards, including a J. Paul Getty Trust Fund Grant and a California Arts Council Fellowship. She also received a Silver Discovery Award from Art of California magazine.
