Item Description
Here is your chance for $500 towards the Resident (Sleep-away) camp program. This is also intended for first-time Mountain Camp Woodside campers. This is valid for summer 2014 or 2015.
Mountain Camp Woodside is a traditional summer camp that offers both a Day Camp (for ages 5-15) and sleep-away Resident Camp (for ages 7-15) programs and is nestled in the heart of beautiful Portola Valley, California on the 63-acre campus of the Woodside Priory School.
Mountain Camp Woodside’s minimal technology, non-competitive program is designed to build confidence and independence, encourage friendships and healthy lifestyle choices. We offer activities like mountain biking, arts & crafts, soccer, swimming, archery and outdoor survival. In today’s hectic, high-tech world, we believe a back-to-basics approach to outdoor recreation and plain ol’ fashion “fun” is critical to building a child’s positive self-image.
Mountain Camp Woodside camp sessions are one-week long and run throughout June, July and August. Many campers enroll for multiple weeks or even the entire summer!
Item Special Note
This cannot be combined and is intended for first-time Mountain Camp Woodside campers. Also, this cannot be applied to the day camp program.
After the on-line auction closes, this item will be going to a silent auction taking place, on May 3, 2014 for further bidding. Absentee Biddingis offered and encouraged. Absentee winners will be responsible for shipping with insurance charges. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items. Purchasers are bound by the restrictions specified by the donors. All auction items and services must be used by May 3, 2015, unless otherwise specified. In accordance with California State Law, 8.75% sales tax will be added to all tangible items. Please consult the "rules" of the Children's Champion Silent Auction for other information.
