Item Description
Kyna Hockenberry gives us a peek through the fence at a baseball game. Her 2013 home plate was a look through a knothole in a wooden fence, so she's moved to chain link this year.
All home plates regulation size, and are made of wood with a one inch edge along the sides.
Item Special Note
Kyna Hockenberry is a 26 year old Arkansas native from the small town of Norfork nestled in the Ozark Mountains. She began drawing before she could even talk and was lucky enough to have a wonderful family that encouraged and supported her love of art and talent. Kyna was awarded several awards throughout high school and continued her training in college. She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she studied art while completing her degree in psychology and art history. Now she is the teen librarian at William F. Laman Library where she shares her love of art with teenagers and is now able to offer the same encouragement she received to others that helped her succeed in her own life.
