Item Description
This charming image of a house with a red truck in the midst of cotton fields is typical of Billy Moore's folk art. He normally uses reclaimed pieces of wood or windows to capture moments in Southern culture, but humored us by using the wooden home plate we supplied.

"With my art there are no rules. The sky does not have to be blue and the grass green. I have no formal art training, and all of the images come from my life experiences and imagination.
I use bold colors to create paintings that represent life in the South. My materials are all around me- house paints acrylics, windows, tin, wood, bottle caps and whatever else I can find.
My art is like breathing for me. It is my passion. I hope you enjoy my paintings."
