Item Description
The winning bidder will receive a full scholarship to DePaul University's School for New Learning, Adult Learning Innovation Institute on Innovative Strategies for Facilitating Adult Learning. In this highly interactive two-day institute, participants will learn strategies to engage and motivate adult learners in their educational and training settings. Session facilitators will demonstrate learner-centered instruction and teach participants how to keep adults focused and attentive even through multiple hours of a training or course using a variety of innovative strategies.
Item Special Note
The institute is led by master facilitators Bruce Williams and Jim Kelly. Both are instructors in the School for New Learning's Master of Arts in Educating Adults (MAEA) program and travel internationally helping educators enhance their work with adult learners.
