Are you trying to come up with a fun, active, out of the ordinary idea for your child’s next birthday party? Avant Garde Fencers Club may be just the thing!
THE place to go in LA for sabre fencers, your child and nine friends will receive an exceptional fencing experience. This one hour session consists of history and introduction to the sport of fencing, basic position, attack, parry and scoring rules. All protective gear (jackets, gloves, and masks) as well as sabers will be provided.
The class will culminate with a mini team tournament and each participant will receive a t-shirt to remember the fun!
It doesn’t matter if the kids are novices or if there are varying degrees of skill and expertise - The coaches are all consummate professionals, highly experienced, and brilliant with fencers of all ages and abilities. Head coach and founder, Daniel Costin, worked with Viggo for several months before shooting The Lord of the Rings!
