Two theorum prints detailing "quilts for sale" with quilts hanging on a washline on a warm spring day that are bookends to a beveled mirror set in a beautiful cherry frame. This measures 42" wide by 15.5" high. This lovely piece was created by local folk artist and author, Barbara A. Palmer who resides in Hilton, NY.
Barbara A. Palmer - Original Theorum Paintings, an old American art form of the early 1800's are done using oil paints on hand-dyed velvet These designs are Barbara's original creations. ''I hope to give the viewer a peaceful feeling through the use of color, texture and subject matter.''
Barbara A. Palmer's theorem designs are entirely her own creations and are executed on hand dyed cotton velveteen. She designs her frame moldings, which are produced by her husband John, a fine woodworker.
