Item Description
Lovingly hand-crafted by Grandpa Charlie Alward (the Willette Kids’ “Papa”), this 8-foot, wood balance beam is a must for any aspiring young gymnast, dancer or balance challenged adult.
Built of solid wood with a soft leather top and painted in Eden Prairie red and black colors, the balance beam is a perfect in-door physical activity. (Think about it: for our long Minnesota Winters, a break from the Wii and no damage to the house from sports that really should be played outside!). A safe 6 inches off the ground with a sturdy wood beam, the leather top is attached with velcro and can be removed. Many of the current 4th graders have spent hours at the Willette house practicing balancing, creating dances and posing for selfies on their beam.
Quotes from potential owners:
· “This is so cool. Would your grandpa make me one?” (Repeated by at least 6 current EHSI students and the entire 10UA EP Girls Hockey Team!)
· “All my parents got me for Christmas was an itouch. They obviously don’t love me as much as your grandparents love you. Maybe next year I’ll get a balance beam.” (You could make your daughter or son’s dream come true!)
Item Special Note
Balance Beam will be delivered to purchaser (Eden Prairie and other local destinations only).
