You and your guest will enjoy a daily outdoor eco-activity offered by the Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment program, featuring an environmental and cultural education center with excursions led by expert naturalists. The Ambassadors program gives you a unique opportunity to experience Hawaii's beautiful environment and rich culture.

Choose a different activity each day:

Snorkel/Underwater Photography - explore the living communities under the sea as naturalists guide you on a snorkeling adventure. Capture images with underwater digital cameras and create your own slideshow.

Whale Watching - Join expert naturalists on board Trilogy's comfortable catamaran in pursuit of the amazing Humpback Whale.

Outrigger Canoe Voyage - experience the thrill of being in an open canoe, traversing the Maui coastline.

Stand-Up Paddling - Learn to "walk on water" like the ancient Polynesians. Using a modified surfboard, SUP is becoming a popular mainland sport.

Additional adult and family activities include a rainforest hike, star gazing, and a twilight coastal trail hike. Kids ages 5 and up can choose from a variety of activities including digital underwater photography, star gazing, tide pool and coral reef exploration, cooking, and crafts.

As a guest at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, you can also enjoy the following complimentary environmental and recreational activities: "Ai Pono - Eat Well" interactive tour of the Chef's Gardens; "A Sense of Place" a documentary film followed by a guided walking tour of the Honokahua Preservation; "The Early Mapping of Hawaii" an interpretive walking tour guided by map historians; "Animal Olympics" test your abilities as a human in challenges that Maui's animals face in the wild; and "Tennis Mixer" casual tennis play for doubles or singles. Activity schedule varies based on day of week.

Airfare:

This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from any major metropolitan airport in the 48 contiguous United States to Maui, HI, subject to availability. Airfare must be booked within one year from the date of purchase. Airfare taxes and a $25 per person processing fee are the responsibility of the purchaser. Business and First Class upgrades are available at the time of booking for an additional fee. Use of frequent flyer miles for upgrades is dependent on specific ticket restrictions as determined by the airline’s frequent flyer program.

Blackout dates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s weeks.
