Enjoy a special evening at Silverlake Wine, sampling a variety of fabulous wines and enjoying delicious appetizers. Benefits from this evening support the Wildwoods Foundation. You and a guest will mingle with others who believe in supporting Wildwoods’ mission of building community through exploring nature.
The Wildwoods Foundation believes that understanding the ways of nature allows us to apply those lessons in our everyday lives and that the best learning is hands-on and collaborative, using real-world projects that have relevance to the community. They bring this philosophy to schools through innovative nature-based programs. Full Circle, their flag-ship program, is the 2012 recipient of the Governor's Environmental and Economic Leadership Award for Environmental Education.
Proceeds from the evening will support Wildwoods' innovative programs with Los Angeles schools: Full Circle, Oakgrove, A Drop in the Bucket and more.
