All eight easteries are caringly managed by owners David Burley and Stephanie Shimp.

Dave and Stephanie started their careers as two servers working together at The Nicollet Island Inn during the 1990s and honed their skills at this premier restaurant/hotel. 

In 1993 the duo opened the Highland Grill, which became the start of the neighborhood’s “second kitchen.”  David and Stephanie began to develop a loyal following of neighbors, regulars and foodies that liked what they had going on.

That was the beginning which has now resulted in eight highly popular restaurants.
