Item Description
Accompany the famous rhino anti-poaching surveillance team lead by Dr. Tom Snitch, University of Maryland. Dr. Snitch utilizes state-of-the-art unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV/drones) to monitor rhino poachers in the Kruger National Park near the Mozambique border. Spend three nights with the team (be prepared for simply basic amenities) in the field. You will also visit Dr. Snitchs laboratory at the University of Maryland prior to traveling to Kruger National Park. This offer is valid for up to two couples (ages 21 and older).
Item Special Note
Winners will be responsible for their round trip ticket to South Africa, visa expenses and other living expenses while in South Africa. Participants also will be required to produce proof of health insurance coverage and sign a liability waiver. Date and time is to be finalized in consultation with Dr. Tom Snitch.
