Chapelco Mt – Bayo Mt & Catedral My Week Combo

LODGING - Chalet at Las Pendientes and El Casco Art Hotel in Bariloche

NOTE: Argentina ski season is July – August and September

DAY 1 Arrive to Chapelco Airport – Check in at Private Chalet at Las Pendientes – Welcome Lunch Reception – Check and Adjust Gear – The Best of San Martin de los Andes Tour – Welcome Dinner at Torino Restaurant

At you arrival to Chapelco Airport your personal guide and host will be waiting for you to give you the official welcome and privately drive the group to the Private Chalet at Las Pendientes Resort. This development is located next to Chapelco Ski Complex at almost 5,000 feet over sea level. This location will allow you to enjoy the private slopes and lift from Las Pendientes as well as connecting to Chapelco Complex. You will be able to ski out of the Villa every day.

After being comfortable checked in at your lodge it will be time to adjust your equipment and prepared everything you might need for tomorrow. If you have not brought your own gear we will be trying out the gear you will be using during the trip.

Later on we will head to the charmed town of San Martin de los Andes for a private tour to discover “the best” of town. We will visit different panoramic view points and discover how this town is located in a deep valley over the head of Lake Lacar. Later on we will continue with a Welcome Dinner at Torino Restaurant.

DAY 2 Full day Ski with our host and guide at Chapelco Mt – Fine Argentine Wine Tasting Dinner at the Lodge with Tango Dancing Show

This morning after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the Lodge it will be time to head to our first ski day at Chapelco Mt. Your host and guide will take you through a tour of the main slopes to let you learn the basic circuit at Chapelco. We will stop for lunch at Graeff Mountain Restaurant. Afterwards we will continue with an afternoon full of fun and snow enjoyment.

This evening once back at the Lodge your host will make an introduction the Fine Argentine Wines world. You will be geographically walked through our country tasting the most representative bottles from each region. Later on while enjoying a delicious dinner from Chef Lilia we will receive the visit from Marcos and Analia (a Local talented couple who run a Tango School in San Martin) and enjoy a great Tango Dancing Show form this couple.

DAY 3 Full day Ski with our host and guide at Chapelco Mt – Optional Snowshoe hike follow by Winter Asado and Argentina Cooking Class at Mountain Shelter with afternoon Georg Collection – Dinner at El Meson Restaurant

 This morning those who would want to continue enjoying skiing the great slopes of Chapelco Mt will head to the ski complex for another great day skiing accompanied by your host and guide.

For those who would want to enjoy a different experience and some more of the area we will head to the Lake Lolog where we will have a snowshoe walk on along the mountains and forest; we will finish our hike on a unique Ranch that will served us as mountain shelter for a traditional Argentine Cooking Class. It will be a perfect experience to learn how to make the most traditional Argentine recipes on the cuisine of a unique mountain shelter. You will learn how to cook empanadas and other exquisites that will be taste in our Lunch.

This afternoon both part of the group (these skiing plus those who have chose for the alternative activity) in San Martin de los Andes. It will be time to visit Georg Collection. This Art Gallery Museum is called for us “Home of arts in Patagonia”. Here we will meet part of the Miciu family. This is a unique Museum & Art Gallery that features Georg Miciu, considered one of the top palette knife artists in the world.  We have the good fortune of having him as a neighbor in town. He has opened the museum to visitors where he displays the works of several highly talented artists of the area.  You will enjoy the work of these artists among Georg’s works and the works of his three talented sons (http://www.colecciongeorg.com/english.html).

Later on we will enjoy a delicious dinner at El Meson de la Patagonia, this unique small restaurant is run by its owners and offer a singular menu that combines great Mediterranean cuisine with some traditional dishes from the area.

DAY 4 Full day Ski with our host and guide at Chapelco Mt – Private Concert of Local Band - Dinner and Private Concert of Local Folk Music Band at the Lodge

Today we will enjoy another full day skiing the beautiful slopes of Chapelco Mt with our host and guide. We will all meet at Graeff Mountain Shelter and Restaurant for Lunch and then we will continue to try some new slopes on the afternoon.

At evening time we will return to the Lodge to enjoy another delicious dinner tonight while we enjoy a show of a Local Folk Music Band.

DAY 5 7 Lakes Road and Villa la Angostura – Lunch at Las Balsas Resort – Afternoon Ski at the boutique Bayo Mt – EL Casco Art Hotel in Bariloche – Dinner at Hotel Restaurant

This morning it will be time to head to the 7 Lakes Road in our direction to Bariloche. This is one of the most scenic drives in Patagonia and we will have plenty of great photo opportunities on the way. When reach the Town of Villa la Angostura we will stop for a delicious lunch at Las Balsas Resort on Lake Nahuel Huapi shore. And afterward it will be perfect time to visit and enjoy a brief afternoon skiing the boutique Bayo Mt Ski Complex.

Later on we will continue our drive to San Carlos de Bariloche and reach El Casco Art Hotel www.hotelelcasco.com/en/ which will be our home for the next three nights. We will enjoy a delicious dinner at the great Restaurant that El Casco has.

DAY 6 Full day Ski with our host and guide at Catedral Mt – Dinner at Cassis Restaurant

To we will have the the chance of enjoying a full day skiing at Catedral Ski Complex which is the largest Ski Resort in South America and will surprise you with unique variety of circuits for all levels of difficulty. We will stop at one of the Restaurant in the complex for a delicious Lunch and continue skiing in the afternoon accompany for your host and guide who will take you through the multiple unique corners of the Ski Center.

Later on once back at el Casco we will get ready to visit Cassis Restaurant, this is consider one of the finest cuisines in Bariloche and will surprise the group with a great gourmet dinner.

DAY 7 Full day Ski with our host and guide at Catedral Mt – Dinner at El Casco Restaurant

Today another full day skiing on Catedral Mountain will allow us to enjoy the upper circuits with the company of your host all day long. We will enjoy a delicious lunch and continue skiing on the afternoon.

Tonight the entire group will be delight with a good bye dinner at El Casco Hotel Restaurant.

DAY 8 Private Transfer and depart from BRC Airport

This morning after enjoying your breakfast it will be perfect time to do some shopping downtown Bariloche downtown previous heading to the Local Airport to catch your return flight to Bariloche.

This trip of 7 nights and 7 days of activities has a cost of $ 4,575 per person based on double occupancy
