Item Description
MRS. DONAHUE'S FIFTH GRADE produced this wonderful and unique "Tribute to Gloucester" print especially for the Plum Cove Auction. Each of the fifteen student created their own distinctive design inspired by our beloved hometown... you'll notice sunsets, sailboats, lighthouses, sea serpents and more! They then painstakingly transferred their drawings to "scratchfoam" plates and through the magic of relief
printmaking rolled them with ink and carefully printed them to create
the powerful combination of color and black lines that you see here. This 26 x 26" collage is a unique, handcrafted, collaborative work of art unlike any other. It will certainly beautify the home of the highest-bidding family and insure that the good times and great friends from Fifth Grade will always be remembered fondly.
