Item Description

This quilt circa 1940 in the drunkard's walk pattern in red and white measures 69 x 80 inches. Donated by Susan Fogg, proprietor of Charlton Classic Interiors & Antiques.

A brilliant quilt that will set any room on fire! The oddly named but attractive Drunkards Path design has a Celtic look. Very nicely pieced and well quilted.  This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.

A single sheet of solid white cotton fabric covers the back of the quilt. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The stitching is good with about 6 stitches per inch.
