Item Description
Steeped in Mayan culture and bordered by lush tropical forests, spend 3 nights in a Superior room at The Hacienda Santa Rosa in Yucatán, Mexico, one of the world’s most unique and celebrated addresses. Formerly an important property of the nobility, the mid-19th century building has become a luxurious residence.
Take in sweeping views of the lush, peaceful bontanic gardens, have a cool drink on the hotel’s wide veranda and dine on the colonnaded terrace of the main house, overlooking the open sky filled with thousands of stars. Explore the area’s ceremonial architecture, which dates back some 3000 years, swim in a cenote, take a stroll in a colonial town, explore sacred subterranean caves, or taste the original savory Yucatecan cuisine. Savor the land of legend, sun and recreation!
Included in this package are Taller Maya gifts hand-made by local artisans. These artisans form part of the Hacienda’s community and are part of a sustainable project aimed at reducing poverty and supporting local women and communities. These excellent examples of traditional high craftsmanship include: a beach bag, a men's Panama hat and a women's sun hat.
