Item Description

Stephen "Steph" Curry is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).  Here is your chance to own a piece of him - well, a basketball signed by him, that is!

Curry, who is known for his shooting skills, plays as a guard and is listed at 6 ft 3 in and 185 lb.   He is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and former volleyball standout Sonya Curry.

He played college basketball for the Wildcats of Davidson College from 2006 to 2009.   In 2008-09 he led the nation in scoring with 28.6 points per game and was a consensus first-team All-America selection by The Sporting News, Associated Press, National Associations of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the US Basketball Writers Association.

On June 25, 2009, he was selected 7th overall by the Golden State Warriors.   In the 2012-13 season, Curry set the NBA record for three-pointers made in a regular season with 272 made three-pointers.

Golden State went 47-37, earning the sixth seed in the 2013 NBA Playoffs and a matchup with the Denver Nuggets in the first round.   This was the first playoff series for Curry and many of his teammates.    In Game 2 of the matchup with the Nuggets, Curry recorded 30 points and 13 assists as the Warriors beat the Nuggets 131-117.     Golden State would eventually close out Denver in Game 6 and advance to the semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs.   Curry recorded 44 points and 11 assists in Game 1 of the Spurs series.   The Warriors blew a 16 point lead late in the 4th to the Spurs in a heartbreaking 2-OverTime loss and trailed 1-0.   Golden State was able to take games 2 and 4, but the Spurs won the series and eliminated the Warriors in Game 6 on the Warriors' home floor.

On November 4, 2013, Curry recorded his second career triple-double with 18 points, 21 assists and 10 rebounds in a 110-90 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
