To Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Pollyanna– written by a prominent author who was born in and grew up in Littleton, NH - in 2013, a White Mountain National Forest quarter was color-enhanced to honor the centennial of the publishing of Pollyanna in 1913. This Centennial package includes the Centennial Program booklet, the centennial quarter and half-dollar centennial coins.
- One side features author Eleanor H. Porter, with her most memorable character and aunt in the background
- The reverse features an iconic image of Pollyanna, replicated by a popular statue in Littleton, NH – site of the annual Pollyanna Glad Day celebrating optimism and joy
- Presented in a colorful, informative Showpak holder honoring the centennial of the world-famous book
