Item Description
29 x 16 Conservator Framed, Chart of Long Island Sound showing light stations from Block Island to New York.
Attractive map, folded as issued, of the many lighthouses of Long Island Sound. Modern expert hand-color. Issued as part of D.A. Daboll's "The New England Almanac and Farmer's Friend", published in New London, CT. This annual publication contained useful regional information and interesting, often unusual, factual information. Shown on this chart, in addition to the many lighthouses still in existence, are numerous lights and lightships which were decommissioned long ago.
