Item Description
NHL Colorado Avalanche puck autographed by goaltender Semyon Varlamov (nickname “Varley”) with certificate of authenticity.
Drafted by the Washington Capitals as a first-round draft pick in 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Semyon Varlamov played his first NHL game in December 2008, and was traded to the Colorado Avalanche in 2011. Varlamov, or “Varley” to his teammates and fans, helped lead the Colorado Avalanche to the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in 4 years.
In the 2013-14 regular season, Varlamov led the league with number of games won (40+) with a nearly 93% goals saved percentage. In January 2014, he signed a 5-year contract extension with the Avalanche worth $29.5 million.
