Item Description

Yusniel is the donor of this wonderful piece of art, and he wanted to share this:

"As a diver myself I was fascinated by seeing the freedom of our wildlife and how everything has a meaning in our ecosystem. Seeing such a beautiful and intelligent animal in such a limited space with my own eyes never thrilled me other than feeling sorry for such a massive animal that has to work to gain it's food. The fact that she is getting release into the wild again and that I can be part of it through my art, gives me a good feeling of satisfaction due to the fact that she will spend the rest of her years where she really belongs. "

Donation Details:

The painting is a 16"x20" stretched canvas, it represents a scene of the food chain in a healthy environment where small species of minnows are abundant and important for the overall health of the river as well as the presence of leafs representing the fall and the presence of trees near by .

Yusniel has sent an original in this painting, and no prints will ever be made from this, so you will have a very special piece of art indeed.

Item Special Note

Monies raised on this item will be donated to offset the post-production costs of Orca Network's documentary 'Fragile Waters'. This educational piece will hopefully assist the resurgance of the Chinook Salmon population, the main diet of the SRKW, and assist in the  Orcas resurgance as well.
